Black Sheep Fridays, the Museum of Contemporary Art’s series that’s dedicated to celebrating nonsense, is back. In honor of the current Tara Donovan exhibit in which the artists used everyday items to create otherworldly pieces, the museum is hosting a slinky olympics and all are invited to complete. Try slinky stair racing, show off your own artistry during a slinky headband competition, and get creative with your moves for a slinky CD dance.

Bottles and wines by the glass will also be available for purchase.

Enjoy a seven-course wine dinner for Coohills 7th anniversary

It's all about the lucky sevens for Coohills this year, so they're celebrating with seven courses paired with seven wines from K Vinter. Wine expert Mark Smith will host the evening's affair which will benefit Toys for Tots. The menu from Tom Coohill will feature some of the restaurant's signature dishes like blue crab cakes with a champagne tarragon nage.

Calling all Marines and friends of marines in the community! This brewery invites you to gather together this weekend to celebrate this branch of the Armed Forces on its 243rd birthday. They'll be airing the Commandant's message on the TV's before a traditional cake cutting ceremony. Proceeds during the event (running through November 12th) will be donated to DAV (Disabled American Veterans). You're also encouraged to bring in warm clothing like gently used gloves, hats, and coats for donation.

Celebrate the start of ski and snowboarding season with Breckenridge Brewery
